What sort of time scale are we talking bigbelly? Don’t want to defend the bloke as it does sound like you’ve been shafted but if it was Saturday’s game and something serious has happened like a bereavement then he might not be in a position to get back to you? Might have been worth giving him the benefit of doubt before tarring and feathering him on here?

Thanks Bigbelly. Donation gratefully received.

As someone who often has to offload my season tickets I will also ensure I never sell to Karlos278.

This whole thing has become a real ball ache now. The ticket exchange doesn't work as games don't sell out and we now have to entrust people we don't know with our ST cards. The old system of £3 for a paper ticket seemed to work fine so not sure why they had to change it.

Fair enough, doesn’t sound good mate. He’s a bit of a knobhead if he’s lost them and doesn’t have the balls to admit it, hope you get you cash back.

Yeah, f*** that guy. Uncool.

The club would probably say selling them on to other fans is 'abuse', not sure what other kind of abuse there could be (obviously that's not really abuse either). A pretty flimsy pretext for another price hike.
They can't, as they have set the precedent by offering the exchange process... sorry, they wouldnt have a leg to stand on, pass them on if you cant make it, puts bums on seats and cash in the kiosks.

It is illegal to sell on football tickets without the explicit permission of the selling club.

If you use the ticket exchange you have this permission, if not, you do not. Now they may 'turn a blind eye' but they certainly have a leg to stand on.

There's a bit more to this now some low life has stolen Big Bellys Card. I would have thought it's in the Clubs interest to keep him onside, as with the smart card not being cancelled the low life can get into the stadium, and even if he's not dumb enough to sit in the smart card seat there are now plenty of other spare seats to sit in.
Also this sort of thing makes life more difficult for those of us that use the generosity of people with season tickets and can't use them.
I like to sit in different parts of the stadium and have been in most, apart from the 1901 by using the NSC Ticket scheme.

A few points:

a) Firstly v sorry to hear this pal

b) I've bought and sold shite loads of tix on NSC and never ever had any kind of problem. So you have been freakishly unlucky here mate. I'm lucky as have lots of people I know in my block who can collect smart cards from the person whos borrowed them as soon as they've found their seat / half time though I must admit.

c) People digging saying he shouldn't really be selling them on - get a grip! It's entirely a trust issue and he's entitled to sell them on on nsc - f*** the 'official rules'. He's been screwed it seems.

Shirley if he's had replacement cards issued, the old ones will automatically be de-activated, and they will not allow access to the stadium now ???

Surely the 'loser' in this case is 'karlos'. Does seem strange that he wanted to forfeit £20 for two bits of plastic! Unless he wants to keep them for a souvenir of course.

Misread what Big Belly wrote about not anteing up the £50. You are correct.
