Can't really remember pre-1983, so will go only with players from after this era. How many games would this line-up win?

1. Andy Petterson (GK)
2. Ashley Neale (D)
3. Jamie Campbell (D)
4. Value Gislasson (MF)
5. Wayne Stemp (D)
6. Jeff Clarke (D)
7. Greg Berry (MF)
8. Jason Peake (MF - we paid good money for him)
9. Mick Ferguson (F)
10. Mark Farrington (F - worst £100,000 ever spent)
11. Mark Chaimberlain (W)

Subs: Simon Fox (24 apps, 0 goals and he was a striker)!
Dirk Lehmann (F)
Willie Young (DF):

Where's Jamie Moralee? And that useless striker that we had from QPR. Michael Mahoney-Johnson (or something like that)? Richard Tiltman was surely worse than Ferguson and Farrington.

That defence is pretty horrific, although I can scarcely remember Jeff Clarke. Did he have curly blond hair?

Who was the guy we got from Coventry who was always getting sent off? Steve Jacobs was it?

Greg Berry wasnt that bad, scored a cracking goal at Wrexham if I remember and looked promising until injury stopped his loan

I'd go for an unusual 4-2-1-3 formation

Nicky Rust

Russell Osman Ashley Neal Derek Coughlan Glenn Johnson

Mickey Bennett Darren Wilkinson

Lawrence Davies

David Adekola Scott Ramsay Lorenzo Pinamonte

Pleased to see that the Worst Player In The World, Ashley Neale, is an ever-present so far! Although it's stretching the definition a bit to put a (D) after his name...

gavin geddes....

surely pinamonte should go down as one of our greatest ever players, if he hadnt of had the grace to turn down a permenant move to the albion we would never have signed zamora

theres only one pinamonte, one pinamonte

Ashley neal is undoubtedly the worst player I have seen at the Albion. There are no other contenders.

I thought jeff clarke was quite good but I may be confusing him with peter suddaby. did they look similar ?. One came from blackpool and was one of the reasons we managed to stay up one season. The other, I seem to remember, got a right bashing from Justin Fashanu when he was playing for notts co.

I must be getting old

Greg Berry was really good! Played 3 games, scored 2 goals, before getting crocked!!!

Glass Case of EMOTION
Andy Petterson deserves to be number 1 choice for worst keeper. everyone remembers the horrific goal he allowed in against gillingham at home last season. Shocking.

1) What was he doing standing on the half way line in the dying seconds of a crucial game where we were still 3-2 down.

2) How did he manage to trip over his own feet scrambling back to the goal ?

3) The guy hnever had any control over the defence and he was absolutely terrible.

He wins the gong as the worst keeper !!
