How am I supposed to get on the bloody roof? Two years ago one of them fell off an apparently next door found it hopping around the garden and got it back up again. The endangered their own life and two days later the silly thing was lying dead on our front path anyway having fallen off again.

Stick some newspaper in the bin with it, put something over the top (with holes), put to one side, call RSPB and get on with work.

I think it will now be rejected by the mother, so the best bet is the RSPB. Or at least they will give you some advice.

Brainwave - I've just realised that I can reach next doors roof through this window, and then hopefully mummy and daddy seagull will rescue it (or it will throw itself off...)

RSPB say get it as close to it's parents as you can so that is what I'll do...

NSC poster Deano's Right Foot was severly wounded after fallign from a 3rd story window while trying to re-unite a baby seagull that had fallen down his chimney with it's parents...
