My Sandwich RIP

Mendoza

NSC's Most Stalked
in a week of excessive RIPing on NSC, i would like to add to the list my sandwich.

Purchased from Castle Sandwich shop in Lewes, its death was quick and sudden, and as I couldnt abide by the 3 second rule when it hit the deck, I had to pronounce it dead and hoover the sussex ham and homemade coleslaw off the carpet. Even the doorstep granary bread couldnt be salvaged.

Had Lewes been a normal town and provided plastic carrier bags instead of useless paper bags without handles, this tragic event would never have happened

It has put a dampener to the beginning of my bank holiday weekend, but I will have to soldier on and hope there is something nice in the work cafeteria

Great sandwich shop that! Does the home-made coleslaw still have peanuts in it? I used to patronise it every day when I worked virtually next door in the early '90s.

RIP sandwich. My tastebuds go out to you.

You must be offending the ladies in there - I always get a plastic carrier bag to take my chicken, bacon and hummus baguette back to the office. That said there is usually some of their home made chocolate shortbread and a smoothie to carry as well.

However, I recently discovered the joys of the baguettes from Crumbs further down the hill. Their cakes have always been good but they make baguettes in there using tiger bread and they are probably the tastiest and best value baguettes in town.

tragic, but next time in order to avert another SLICE of bad luck, try to use your LOAF and take your own, secure bag

One day I'll learn my lesson of not buying sammidges from the Castle Sammidge Shop.

They're RUBBISH.

RIP.
