Yeah - Bridcutt has been truly exceptional. There were a couple of really magical moments from him last night but he can't do it on his own. Teams now really press on our back 5 from the off and this is starting to pay off for the opposition. There is a limit to how long we can hold out when playing our brand of football if the opposition are prepared to close us down. Gus's challenge is to work out how we can break a bit quicker when these situations arise. We seem to eventually get the ball up into midfield, only to go back and start the process all over again. We've got to keep hold of the ball further up the field.
Last night we almost stopped trying to attack once we had gone into the lead. I thought we were pretty poor after the first 15 mins - we never got going again. We have got to get CMS more involved than just having him run around chasing lost causes.
