Great stuff - would it be possible to have some random profiles on the front page or the main car / motorbike /vans etc pages. Will make the site look like its busy.. and that'll really help with new punters who may stumble across the site.

At the mo it's quite hard to find a car at all.

Anyway good luck mate - always good to see someone with a bit of initiative!

I started my own business a year or so ago and all is very well.

Yeah will do mate - i am currently working through the used car dealers in the area and will then try and tap up the frachise main dealers.

Was just thinking maybe under the words 'search by brand' there is a nice big white gap that you could fill with a few random '250px x 250px' ads for cars already on the site. But I admit that you may lose the nice minimalistic feel the site has now.

Would mainly serve to make you look busy. This I would imagine may make people wishing to sell or buy a bit keener to get involved...

Don't worry too much about my nonsense though. I am probably wrong!!

Ha. I appricate your thoughts mate. To be honest the clean and minimal look is one of the unique selling points. If i can get lots of traders to upload their stock the site should look busy on all pages !!

Facebook is a great marketing tool, and helps spread your name fast. I dont have a personal fbook account so unfamiliar how things are 'liked' ect.

In the next 2 weeks im going to be looking at an advertising campaign. Beforehand i just need to get as many traders listing their cars so when joe public comes along their is good content for them
