I have an ipod nano - and it's completley 'frozen' - can't turn it off, get into the menu, forward/back. Even when it's in the docking station nothing can be changed.

Bollocks!

Can anyone help please (in fairly simple technophobe friendly language.)

If it's anything like a classic ipod, try holding the centre button down whilst also holding down the forward button on the bottom. Takes about 15 to 20 secs and then reboots...if you're lucky

Usually keep finger on the on button or there is a re-set button somewhere on it you press with a sharp implement

I think youll find he said it was completely frozen and couldnt turn it on .....means he probably cant turn it off !
and i think YOU'LL find that this is the standard answer from THPP when he opens a thread on techy stuff.

i was only standing in

Ok..i was only trying to help. Who is THPP ?
the poster that always posts 'have you tried switching it off then back on again' to a techy question, only to be answered once with

'the re-boot method is neither helpful or needed on this occasion'

i luuuurve THPP :yahoo:
