No I am most certainly a Brightonian in fact my daughter is one of only a few people in recent years born in BN1

Your user name and the rather overcrowded maternity ward at the Royal Sussex would suggest otherwise on both counts.

At least we can get a few hours peace now while Hangleton Born and Bred is flipping burgers. I just need to make sure i'm off NSC by 6 when he finishes.

I wish he'd named the school, at least then we could all avoid sending our children there in an attempt to avoid the dullard in real life.

Just tell us which school in Brighton is going to have a class called palace (if I have understood you correctly) and we can all go along and get it sorted !

Ps which school in Brighton is full of northern accents ??

HB&B means those annoying northern accents that Londoners have

.... talk about adding insult to recent injury. Pissed me off nearly as much as all the northern accents in the classroom (the other parents) I didn't shout up the Alamo , I shouted 'Save The Brightonian' though I fear it's too late.

Weird or what?

Not true I'm afraid. Your daughter is just one of very many children born in BN1 recently. I'm friends with a couple of midwives and they regularly (as in most days) deal with home births in the BN1 area. You do know how far it stretches? Coldean, Hollingbury, Hollingdean, Fiveways, Preston, Patcham, Stanmer and Town Centre.

Not that I can see what difference it makes. It's a pretty desperate kind of one-upmanship to play postcode snobbery. Here in BN2 we have one half of 'scoomb (you have the other) and Whitehawk but we also have Kemptown, Roedean, Queens Park, Ovingdean and Rottingdean.

I really don't think other people care, you know.

Not that I'm making excuses for him, but he did explain that he was born in Hove ward at Buckingham Road maternity hospital.

I'm disappointed that HB&B hasn't used his industrious investigative journalism skills to try and bring us all an insightful report in to what's been happening at the Albion, or at least asked Barber some pertinent questions on the matter.
