Dear NSC

Huge thanks to El Pres for allowing me to post this.

I’ve just written and published my autobiography covering my first 60 years. Unsurprisingly, it’s got tons of Albion related stuff as well as recollections of growing up in Brighton in the 60’s and 70’s.

It’s full of self-deprecating humour (and profanities!), music, religion, bra’s, porn (especially with El Pres in mind!), work (Amex), travel, celebrities, Albania and loads more.

From Gary Glitter to Billy Joel via Harold Shipman and Bernard Manning - it’s got the lot!

It’s currently available in kindle, paperback and hardback formats on Amazon here, in the US/Canada, Oz/NZ and the UAE, and I’ll try to post links below (but I’m not great at this sort of thing!).

I launched it on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and initial comments have been very favourable and encouraging. I also made a promo video which is too large to post here but it’s on my Facebook page (as are the Amazon links).

If you are mad/kind enough to actually buy it, I’d love to know what you think of it. Oh, and tell your friends, neighbours, lovers, dog groomers, etc.

It’s currently taking a couple of weeks to be received from Amazon as they’re printing to order and don’t yet have a batch of 50 or so in a warehouse somewhere. Hopefully that will speed up with the more orders they get.

The book has also appeared on Waterstones website today for the first time, which increases the choice of where to buy it from.

I think the royalty (approximately one 3rd) is the same irrespective of where it’s bought from.

Yes, I was chuffed to bits with the cover, which my publisher turned around in 24 hours. The promo video is really good too but the file size is too big to upload it on NSC. It is available on my Facebook page, if you’re on there and can send me a friend request.

I’m so sorry about the apostrophes . And, as a pedant, you’ll go mad at my incorrect use of commas throughout the book! I kind of wrote it as I would say it - hence the liberal sprinkling of profanities - and it probably isn’t grammatically the best work by anyone ever!

The Amazon affiliate programme has been trimmed back so much in recent years, it really is a small number of pennies for sales nowadays.
