Glenn was fantastic today. He has 2 goals in his first game this season.

It's hardly fair to compare the two, considering this was Murray's first game back from injury.

Hang on, it was his first game back from trying to find a new club in the transfer window.

You should look forward to him doing well these coming months running up to the next transfer window.

Muzza: he left you for the bigger club. Face it, with the right service he will get 20 goals. And in Zaha, Moritz, Goodwillie, Bolasie and Williams, he will get that.

have you ever been to palace? it's a shithole. you have 1 decent player - zaha, you weren't great last year and you will be even more shit this year. get a life muppet

There's no coincidence that he was 'injured' up until the transfer window shut, and then came back immediately.

Something was going on in the background in regards to a move away. Reckon he'll be off in January.

As usual a deluded scumbag, he didn't leave us for a bigger club, he left due to finances of being almost bankrupt, hence the signing fee, he even asked gus if he could come back and he realised he made a mistake after signing for you nigel's.

No chance, he's more than happy at the club, plenty of passion and fight displayed yesterday. He was also given the captains armband in our League cup game at Exeter, if Freedman thought he was discontent, he'd hardly be giving him that role.

The fact that you all mocked the players I listed shows how naive, deluded and uneducated about football you are. Zaha and Williams are prob the best 2 youngsters outside the Premiership, Bolasie and Moritz are players that you wouldn't of seen play so you can't judge them and Goodwillie was one of the best players in the SPL, his career in the last year has been held back as he's been under a sh*t manager in Kean.

I think most Palace fans on here told you to judge us once we have our better players back from injury, the line-up's for the first 3 league games wasn't a patch on the best team we can field. More than confident we will be fine this season and if we beat you in 6 weeks time the egg on some of your faces will be messy! You're nowhere near as good as you think you are and we are nowhere near as bad as you make out.

We are far better than last year, we have a better (prem) keeper, 2 far better fullbacks (prem & la liga), much stronger midfield (la liga, and 2 that have been promoted from this league) and a striker who has been promoted TWICE in 3 years from this league.

Please enlighten all of us as to how "we're not as good as we think we are". As for bolasie, we could have taken him from Plymouth in their fire sale for peanuts when we got Noone, the Plymouth fans I know were NOT impressed with him at all .

You, on the other hand have a WEAKER squad than last season.

Should have signed Bridcutt when you had the chance ;)

-More likely Tom Ince and Jordan Rhodes
-Bristol City fans say he's turd, they have seen him play more than you
-The SPL , no argument needed

Palace have a lot of idiotic numpties as fans, but you are another class apart.

The way most of you talk is as if you will walk the league, it comes across very arrogant.

We don't know yet if our squad is weaker, it all depends on how the new signings do. Granted we lost Clyne and Ambrose but right back isn't the most vital area on a pitch and Ambrose for all his stunning goals, would go missing in games far to often. Scannell going is no big deal, he was never a regular and Gardner has been replaced by Blake who is a starter for Wales ahead of Premiership players like James Collins and Danny Gabbidon. We also have Zaha a year older and more experienced and Williams back from long term injury.
