No, but doesn't it seem strange that a recent goal scorer wasn't included. That is where the real difference is being made. It's the finishing that has really turned this team for the better. The other parts of the team, defending, midfield, holding things together, have all pretty much been solid in the past (even during that dreaded awful 2nd half of the 18-19 season) but it's the finishing that has made the difference. Murray hasn't been involved in that in recent matches.

I suppose the fact that Muzza, Stephens and Burn all speak English as their native language has a lot to do with it also.

You really can be a massive plum when you get in your stride

In that case it should be Potter and his coaching team.

Why? Have they scored goals recently, defended well, controlled the midfield or played spectacularly in goal (one we all forgot and are starting to take for granted)?

Wish they had one of the Albion footballers who were actually scoring goals recently such as Trossard, Maupay, Webster, etc. on the telly. I know this has to do with the Up your Pal-arse vs BHA match but I would rather hear from the blokes making a difference when a TV appearance rarely happens.

I agree about Stephens but not Burn after about the 3rd game and in recent games he has been poor and IMHO should be replaced by Bernardo especially against Palace.

Well, sorry to disappoint you but I'm 100% sure Dan Burn is starting tomorrow.

On Whoscored who rates players based on 200 factors, Dan Burn got the highest average rating in the team. On Sofascore, using fewer factors and converting the statistics to ratings in a different way, he is pretty much on the same level as most of the squad.

Of course, the club uses more sophisticated data (these sites are generally not very good at measuring "off the bal"l stats) but I have a very hard believing this data is showing Dan Burn to be "poor" as he is starting week in and week out.

In the long run yes a more pacy and technically skillful left back is needed & wanted, but saying Burn has been poor is according to me, and seemingly Potter, just incorrect.

Just my opinion and not the one that is important GP.
