Not Palace, they will then further restrict us. Just get the old bill to organise better., ie no drinking in town, just like they did to us up there. Milllwall yes restrict.

Threads already been done, but we limit palace to 1000 and they only give us the same! Plus we loose out on big revenue and lack of atmosphere its more about getting fans in and out safely

The only way to deal with such games would be to limit them to 1200 tickets.
The police, stadium and transport cannot cope with 2400 fans from trouble clubs.
Can't hold them back, cant segregate after game and home fans don't have many options to avoid them.
Must be limited.
were you there last night, even Millwall elders were embarassed by it, gave out a few slaps to there own by all acounts NO ,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO ,NO NO,NO THERE'S NO LIMIT :rave:

No need to limit numbers
Just make them aware before game that they will be kept in for 20 minutes odd after the game

That website (sorry posters) is laughable.

Mtr & Mrs angry from Tunbridge Wells or should i say Ditchling...stuck in their little englander time warp.

Go on and on about families would be put off etc..just embarassing, sanitised, self righteous shit spewed from every angle on there.

Generally they all have a true football gene missing on there.

There on a level of watford, non entities who add nothing to football culture except to wave their flags and plastic foam hands at games - and all in the name of family entertainment.

why dont they all fcuk off and watch repeated episodes of x-factor.

I think that the police have to radically rethink their strategy.
The idea that "all the fans will police themselves" obviously isn't working (and IMHO never would have done especially with Palace and Millwall). I'm not tarring all the away fans (and not even all Palace and Millwall fans) with the same brush but there's a history of idiots causing trouble at these matches so they have to be dealt with.
I think the Met did a damn good job up at Selhurst and, although I wasn't particularly fussed about being kettled all the way down to Norwood Junction station, it worked and worked well. Keep the away fans in for 30 minutes after the match - enough time for those Brighton fans that want to leave to get away and then escort the away fans on to their own train/ P+R bus/whatever having announced to the BHAFC fans that are left in the stadium in the bars that the away fans are going and that the Albion fans will be locked in the stadium for 10 minutes or so. As to the trouble and damage that was caused in the stadium make the away team pay for it (or increase away fans price to pay for it).
The next flashpoint will be the last match of the season - Birmingham at home - they have a history of tearing up away grounds - I was at Palace when they did this before (late 80s or early 90s) and it wasn't fun - I trust the police are going to be prepared for this

What do you propose doing with the other 1200 who turn up ticketless ?

Let's not kill the game . I can tell you the problem they keep making these high profile games evening ko if it were Saturday they could keep them in for half hour evening they can't as train connections etc . I don't think OB have a clue evening ko they come down lunchtime drinking all day need to be policed Saturday it's probs 2-3 hours in pub max . Or is it overtime certain people want .

That thread is spot on, compared to previous visits from what I saw I thought Millwall were well behaved last night. Can't comment on what went on in their end at half time as I wasn't there but the wall that were at the station before the game were fine. Afterwards there were a few verbals with the lot that were getting their special train back but you'd expect that from any side that have brought 2000+ fans and the verbals were a two way thing!

If Millwall come to town and the worst thing that happens is we getting called a bunch of bum boys then we've got off lightly!
