Muslims need to chill the f*** out

Personally, I'm all for freedom of speech, and I think that they have a right to complain, but I am a little bit titsed off with it all now. Why do we allow them to protest in this country, with banners which are themselves hate-filled messages, whilst police look on? It's not as though the UK press have printed these very old, very out of date cartoons.

I think that it is probably time to tell them that we have had enough - we have let them protest, they have made their point, but they have to be aware that if they carry on, then they will do nothing but fuel opposition. We cannot live in fear of their threats of mujahideen vengeance - much as I would rather not be saying this, I think that they are going to bring a lot of problems down on their own heads.

Without ignoring that you and I would imagine others are "a little titsed off". I would emphasise that the minority of the 300 that turned up, with these tasteless posters. Do not represent the 200,000 odd muslims that live in my local part of London. Who I would reckon are also equally embarrassed by such violence offerings. In representative terms, back to the old BNp chestnut, it is like saying Griffin represents the voice of reason in the UK.

I know it was only a few, and it's obvious that all the posters were written by the same person, but the police should be in there, nicking them all - no excuses, no community policing, no intimidation or fear of legal action being taken for harassment. A poster which says "stand by for the real holocaust" has only one interpretation - can you imagine if you or I went and stood outside a mosque with that? I know that they don't represent all Islamic feeling, but I do believe that it should now be stopped before it starts to gather pace - otherwise we are going to see the BNP picking up more supporters.

Couldn't agree more, racism is not a white/Christian preserve.

You really are cleverer than I thought. So from my post you can in your above statements know that I am pro western government concerning there involvment in Arabic politics and the like.Christianity has little if no influence in real western politics but the same can not be said of the hypocratical teachings of muslim states.you are not arguing with a right wing zealot when you reply to me but someone who wonders how you second guess everyones opinions on here.
You'll find that out about London Irish. You say one thing against his views and then he'll do long speech, adding quotes along the way, and then turn it all on you. By the end of his rambles, you will be Nazi scum, pondlike, a Daily Mail BNP lover, scum and any other childish name he can think of. And probably all you've commented on is the weather!! Its worth reading some of the threads he posts in, without getting involved yourself, and even in the case when you agree with his point of view, he still comes over as a bullyboy name calling idiot.
He's your typical journalist and probably most of what he says, is said to get a reaction. Like most annoyances, just ignore him and he'll go away.

Ah yes, you commented on the weather, said "Jap" immigrants spoiled New Zealand, said Hitler's Nazi holocaust was proof that races couldn't live together and then called Asians "a plague".

Not surprised you've turned up on this thread to add support to your racist mates

Dead wrong. Batter them off the streets and you generate greater support for them inside their own communities.

Political rather than military/brute force methods are the best way to isolate the Muslim fanatics.

I`ve come to the conclusion that debate on here and all over the internet for that matter is totally different to debate say down the local pub or in the workplace. Not on an interlectual level or anything like that but in as much that people like L.I. who is well read and perhaps an interesting fellow when having a chat in other walks of life becomes a isolated figure on here even though he has real depth to his arguements at times.I think when behind a keyboard its easier to go just a little to far in your pursuit of a winning arguement that you stop listening to what others are saying. Also its so much easier to get dirty and thats poor form. You would never sink to those depths out there in the real world for fear of truly upsetting someone and getting a thump.

TOUGH CALL. Remember a couple of years ago when anti-Chinese Govt protesters were arrested and/or had their banners etc torn away. For protesting againgst the Chinese President (or whatever he is) and China's lack of free speech, democracy.

It made us look ******* stupid and no better than that filthy regime?

They're burning the embassies now.

This is awful, heard it and couldnt believe it. It's all well and good saying that not all muslims are extremists which i totally accept but i doubt this would have happened if the catholic good had been offended in the far east.

Muslims are terrorists, but instead says that there is a link between Islam and terrorism. Islam does have a problem with terrorists (is that OK to say?)

Is it OK for me to say that Christianity has a problem because it murdered six million Jews?

Or would it be a malicious lie and terrible defamation of all Christians?

When the actions of a tiny, tiny minority of a particular faith get blamed on a great worldwide religion, I think we have a very, very big problem.

We have to be smarter than that and ask whose agenda is being served here to so defame the Muslim religion?

I still maintain that even after all the tangents that have been gone off on that people have a right in there own country ie a Danish newspaper to satirise or ridicule other religions or political ideals.Incitement to commit a crime is a different matter all together.

But I didn't mention battering anybody - I said that it had to be done lawfully, and openly. If you hide things, then you end up with a Guantanamo Bay where because you hide things, people assume you have a reason to hide.

These people are committing an offence, therefore they should be taken off the streets, and put before special session courts (like they used to with football hooligans).

Hitler did not murder in the name of religion but in the pursuit of power.Totally different if he fought a war in the name of atheism.

The problem is that by doing nothing, you are opening up to accusations of "you won't touch them because they are Muslim" from the Right, and this is unacceptable. You have to impose the law of the land on these people, especially if they have chosen to live here under the protection of that very same legal structure!

That's what it would look like if you sent in a load of white Met cops to break up and arrest that crowd.

They would then take that martyrdom back to their communities and get ten recruits for every arrest.

Be smarter than that and don't play into their hands.

Where do you draw the line then with people openly advocating violence against this country in this country.

So you let them carry on, with the example that because it would look racist to arrest them, they can get away with it?

Maybe we need a new Muslim Flying Squad? Or a special Black Flying Squad that we can use so we don't look racist when we arrest people.

These people get recruits no matter what happens - their communities see that they can flout the law, and still come home afterwards!
