I could have quoted a load of stuff from the Bible about how to treat one's slave, for example, or what the Lord will do to homosexuals (depends on which book of the Bible you read), or even sections which appear to condemn the disabled.

But I think the point to be taken from this is: many religious texts contain passages which sound rather unpalatable to us, the Bible, the Koran, and probably the Torah too. It doesn't say anything more about Muslims than it does about Christians, or Jews.

There was a story on the BBC website about only 5% of Imams being from Britain, but looks like the reds at the BBC have pulled it, most the rest are funded by the Wahibis. Yes it does. You are confusing religous scripture with general interpretations and beleifs.

The Bible says true beleivers will not be bitten by snakes, you have to go to the appalchian Mountains to find advocates of that. As with all the other quotes of yours.

Wereas if you ask a muslim about exherts in the Koran a lot higher percentage will beleive in the most wacked out stuff.

Thats why 17% of British Muslims sypathise with Bin Laden.
