The question is, where do you draw the line?

I would not expect a Sikh to be told that he can't wear a headscarf and I would not expect a Jewish person to be told they can't wear a skull cap.

In our multicultural society, people have different beliefs and we must accomodate them as far as possible.

However, in this case, she must have known that uniform is compulsary and the authorities can't make exceptions for different people.

To be fair though you don't have to be white to be a racist. I'm sure there's a few people here who've been the victim of the proverbial 'Race Card'. Although I wouldn't put it quite the same way as Watford I can see his point and can understand his views.

I think the point is that this is a fairly isolated case and there are many more cases of gangs and yobbery that the government should focus on rather than a Jihab saga...

Funny, I thought she was just using the rights that everyone has to take action against something she felt strongly about (and about which the Court of Appeal agreed with her, I notice). She lost, now she has to suck it up. That's the way British justice works, isn't it?

Of course, some of you want a two tier society where only those who agree with you are allowed to take legal action. Some country that would be.

Malicious attention seeking is not what the law is about. Would you defend my right to go to court (on the basis of your argument) I my kids wanted to go to school dressed as pagans? What about naturists

The gangs are ruling the streets and putting fear into communities. Whether they be black/muslim/white gangs.

More often that not, apart from brainwashed terrorists, the asian gangs are those with no real muslim identity.

France lost 212,000 members of it's Armed Forces, 267,000 civillians and 83000 holocaust victims in WW2. It's losses included people like my brother in law's grandfather who was killed as a Resistance fighter during the Normandy campaign.

(The UK's losses were 307,700 members of the Forces and 61,700 civillians).
