My Dad listened to it all the time. Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie etc.

Now I love it, although must confess to having a somewhat limited collection. I need to find out where all his old LPs are.

My dad loved Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins which I have always loved from a young age, what's not to love at five singing cowboy songs. Now my mum liked a band called family and another called free, Jesus they were pants and still don't get it. She was my step mum so I have an out.

Now best part odf 35 years on ive found a gem by tony orlando called "don't let go" i would put it up but dont know how to but the re-edit by pete herbert is fantastic its on the disco deviant label . if someone could put it up you wouldnt believe its by the same person who did "tie a yellow ribon round the old oak tree!!
