Ella Fitzgerald ( the finest jazz voice and probably one of the greatest clearest diction ever) and Jo Stafford( who I bet not many have heard of) were my parents and grandparents favourites and I have carried that on.

I introduced my kids to joe bonamassa a while ago and my youngest is very keen on his music

My youngest was about 8 or 9 when Wet Wet Wet covered With a Little Help from my Friends. He thought it was brilliant, so I played him Sargent Pepper that not only got him into the Beatles but he discovered the 60s revolution and got into the Who, Kinks etc. So when Indie came along it was a no brainer for either of us.

1960 got a Dansette record player for Christmas. What did I get with it one record, bloody Nina and Frederick Little Donkey and suddenly mum had loads of Elvis. Only one she ever bought I liked P J Proby Hold Me, still got it on my jukebox now
