Music Thread - inappropriate songs for a funeral

Going Underground - The Jam. (Although I quite fancy that for mine.) I like the choice of song during execution by lethal injection in the book Vernon God Little. "I've got you under my skin".

At the foot of the downs

Snuff - Arsehole

What an arsehole

what a f***ing wanker

what a toss pot, a toe rag, a fart in a jar.

I've been dreaming

a dream that keeps recurring

I turn the corner, you're there, it turns into a nightmare, I wake with a shout.

I'm an arsehole

I'm a f***ing wanker

'cause I can't get the grips with what the f*** you're about.

I'm an arsehole

I'm a f***ing wanker

I'm a toss pot (Bastard!) a toe rag (Fuckwhit!) a fart in a jar.

We're all arseholes

we're a bunch of wankers

we're a bunch of toss pots (Fuckwhits!) toe rags (Gobshites!) farts in a jar

You're all arseholes

you're a bunch of wankers

you're a bunch of toss pots (Fuckwhits!) toe rags (Wetwipes!) farts in a jar

We're all arseholes

we're a bunch of wankers

we're a bunch of toss pots (Fuckwhits!) toe rags (Gobshites!) farts in a jar

You're all arseholes

you're a bunch of wankers

you're a bunch of toss pots (Fuckwhits!) toe rags (Wetwipes!) farts in a jar

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm,
I've been kicked around since I was born.
And now it's all right, thats okay,
you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
the New York Times' effect on man.

(Chorus)
Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'
and you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive, stayin' alive,
ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive.

Oh, when you walk.

Well, now I get low and I get high,
and if I can't get either, I really try.
Got the wings of heaven on my shoes,
I'm a dancin' man and I just can't lose.
You know, it's all right, it's okay,
I'll live to see another day.
We can try to understand
the New York Times' effect on man.

(Repeat chorus)

(Bridge)
Life goin' nowhere, somebody help me,
somebody help me, yeah.
Life goin' nowhere, somebody help me, yeah.
I'm stayin' alive.

The band Anal ****

Such classics as ;

I snuck a retard into a sperm bank
I've just seen the gayest man in the world
I got a job in an office for the sole purpose of sexually harrassing women.

On a slight tangent, the other half and I were the other day discussing totally irrelevant funeral songs you could choose to be played as your coffin disappears off behind the curtain to confuse the mourners. The winner was 'Goldfinger' by Shirley Bassey. What I wouldn't give to see people's faces when that was blasted out.

For cremation you can't beat Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' as the coffin goes through:

"Burning through the sky, 200 degrees, that's why they call me Mr Farenheit..."
