That's funny, I came across that recently and have been listening to quite a few mixes while working, it's quite chilled, pretty good.

Funny. Jamz must have had her tunes WELL pitched up. I got a generic Spotify mix going over making dinner and washing up and it was gorgeous but very laid back. Her tunes weren't.

I'd thought the best known example for 6 Music fans was this, which was absolutely ubiquitous on there in 2020.



Now I'm wondering if this fine example was a little full on?

I also have an album by Philip Martin called, Hurdy-Gurdy Mandrohne.
Just as the name suggests, it's all hurdy gurdy, which is an instrument that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, just like pipes in all their forms. I think I'm attracted to any drone instrument really.

Trans-drone-instrumental-rock you say?! A new sub genre….

Anyway, have you come across France? A french post-rock trio, bass, drums and you guessed it. Not sure if they are still going.
