I'll be there (if you go first) and will ensure that the theme from Benny Hill is played at the end or even better 'Touch to Much' by the Arrows!!

:lolol:

Benny Hill theme would be good, who is going to get a little bald man everyone can pat on the head ?

Anything by Genesis or Level 42.

If you're going to be upset, I want you to have a good reason.

 woah . .you want a mourners funeral and not a celebrate the life one then !

At my Dads last year we played fly like an Eagle by the Steve Miller band and With a little help from my freinds by Joe Cocker . . . .

for mine I'm not sure, but there'll be a DJ with my record collection at the Wake and it'll go on for days !!!

Serious reply

I usually blast that out of the stereo before I sit down down to watch any England game on TV. Brings a homesick tear to the eye and makes me feel more patriotically stirred than any stupid national anthem ever invented.

Coffin in to "Nothing last for ever" ..Echo & the Bunnymen
cutains close to "I'll be on my way" ..the Saw Doctors
and a final close with ..Ocean rain ..Echo & The Bunnymen.... as all bunnyman fans would know its time to go home when the bloke with the floppy hair sings the title track of Ian MacCullough self proclaimed "greatest album ever made"

AC/DC - For those about to rock, we salute you (complete with cannon fire) - no mourning at my gig matey!

Perhaps the effect would be greater if you played Highway to Hell.

I'd probably pick This Charming Man too or perhaps Suicide is painless from the MASH TV series.

Many rivers to cross...UB 40 (Jimmy Cliff?)
It would have to be the Jimmy Cliff version - UB40's cover was SHITE
Other tunes I would like at my funeral:
A change is gonna come - Sam Cooke
Save the children - Marvin Gaye
