Mushy Bus Petition REJECTED

Just got the word from Sussex CCC. :(

Apparently, Mushtaq Ahmed will not have his name put onto a bus for quite a while yet. The reason? He is not dead yet. It appears there is a new rule for the buses to be adorned with someone's name - they have to have passed away first.

Fatboy Slim and Chris Eubank, for instance, won't have their names taken off, but no-one living can have their names added.

Be polite, they do support the Falmer bid...

Yes because they stand to make shed loads of money bussing fans to the stadium.

In Rome, you pay 1 Euro ( 68p) for 75 minutes on a bus to go anywhere in the City. In Brighton and Hove, you pay £1.80 to get on a bus....its shit and its all French's money grabbing fault.

I couldnt give a toss if he supports Falmer, he is a shyster

Wouldn't it be ironic if he was hit by a bus.

Abort, retry, fail
Dear Sir or Madam,

I was bitterly disappointed to see that the petition to secure a bus in the name of Mushtaq Ahmed has been rejected. Of course rules are there to be followed, but they are also there to be bent. I am sure you are well aware of how much ‘Mushy’ has done for Sussex as a whole and I would hope that you will take steps to rectify this.

Is it not appropriate to show our thanks and respect when the person in question is living!??

As a regular customer, I am beginning to become highly disillusioned with the bus system and rising prices and now this blow; to me this is the last straw.

Kind regards,

.....

It's £1.50 but I see your point, it's too expensive.

...because of the revenue they'll make from providing transport to a new stadium with their shit, overpriced service?
What I mean is, if they didn't, our stadium plans would be f***ed. BADLY. Prescott would have had no choice but to say NO.

And I wouldn't say it's shit - it's definitely over-priced, but shit, no. In fact, costs aside, I'd say it's pretty good. Better than we had before he took over. The price increases are down to the pressure placed upon him by Go Ahead, the owners of the company. They're the real scheisters.

That is f***ing STUPID of them - it could have been an easy -peasy bit of good FREE PR for them, now they look like the small-minded provincial rip-off monopolistic PENISBREATHERS that they are.
