Albion boss Micky Adams is sweating on the fitness of at least six of his players ahead of Saturday's trip north to Tranmere Rovers.
Striker Glenn Murray remains extremely doubtful with the ankle problem which forced him to sit out Tuesday's game at Shrewsbury, while Adam Virgo is also struggling with an ankle problem sustained during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie.
Colin Hawkins and Kevin McLeod are almost certain to miss out; Hawkins injured his calf early in the victory over Shrewsbury, while McLeod is still struggling with the knee problem which has dogged his season.
Stuart Fleetwood is also facing a race to be fit, while Adam Hinshelwood picked up a dead leg on Tuesday night. Albion are already without goalkeeper Michel Kuipers and midfielder David Livermore, who are both ruled out until January.
Adams does have Bradley Johnson available again. The on-loan Leeds United man was cup-tied for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
