What does he mean it's hard to believe people leaving?! Maybe they have to get the train home, rather than having a chauffeur :wozza:

Yeah that was pissing me off a bit as well - needs to return to the real world!

Great match, I can see why Murray was so emotional at the end as Wawrinka really gave him a test. Not many players would stand up to a Top 3 player like that and keep coming back. I felt split loyalties at the end just because I thought Wawrinka made it such a great match.

Did anyone else get pissed off with the way they kept doing crowd close ups of that group of lads who kept jumping up fist pumping and hugging each other after every point? I know the atmosphere was great but they were grating me - I can't believe an individual sport can make them that inclined to look like they're celebrating England winning the world cup at every moment.

Finchley i may think its got something to do with him wearing an Argentina top............:tosser: (him not you)
First time I've heard that one. :lolol:

Still find it bemusing that half the nation have based their hatred of Murray on varying rumours of him doing things that didn't even happen. Talk about being taken for a ride!

Well played is beating Wawrinka who played some brilliant stuff. Murray showed great mental and physical strength, but I can't help thinking that Murray will get blown away by Federer, should he get that far.

What a pathetic comment. That was a fantastic match. Did you not see the celebrations when we only beat Stockport to only stay up. Fair enough to have your pathetic anti Murray views but at least let others enjoy it rather than moaning.

OOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhh we are pissed arent we ?

Yes i am anti Murray, that does not make me pathetic ? If you think so please explain. how my personal choice makes me pathetic, and your good self my judge and jury ? You might think it was a fantastic match, and i tend to agree. Still im pathetic ............

Don't mind now it's actually over. It was more annoying spending the whole of last week listening to every BBC pundit having a go at explaining how long the roof took to move and how long it would be before the air con made it possible to play again.

Also thought that the commentator today suggesting that Murray's lower than normal 1st serve percentage might be because he was looking up at a different landscape was possibly one of the most ridiculous comments I've heard!

Dear god. How many f***ing times do we have to go over this?!

Wimbledon 2009: Andy Murray sets record straight on 'anti-England' reputation - Telegraph

He was goaded on by a reporter, a reporter that was taking the piss that Scotland were not in the tournament and Murray responded in good fashion. He is accused of being boring, but gave a witty retrort and suddenly he is getting death threats from retards that deserve hanging, reatrds that can't even read the word Telegraph, let alone earn 60p to purchase it.

Okay. I did not say you were pathetic, I said your views on Murray were pathetic. Out of interest, did you celebrate after the Stockport game/Man City match etc. If you did, what is wrong with celebrating Murray winning in such thrilling style to reach the last 8 at Wimbledon? You were not just being anti Murray, you were slagging off people for celebrating his win.

Also, as I stated earlier the whole Argentina shirt thing never happened so basically loads of people have built up a dislike of Murray based on a fictional event built up by the tabloids.

No it's not. People actually use it to justify their dislike of Murray rather than admitting they are anti Scottish (which seems to be the general reason even though he represents Britain).

He's beaten Federer 4 times out of the last 5 they have played.....granted not in a 'Slam', and not on grass, but there maybe mind game stuff. Its going to be a great few days in SW 19

Agreed...personally I hate him because 'Supersizers' got postponed for a week due to the extended coverage and I'd been looking forward to it :(

He didn't though, it is just a myth that built up. I am not going to bother arguing after this post but he is representing Britain (not Scotland).

If you asked andy in what order are doing this for scotland, britain, or the money i bet you all the haggis in a very large haggis factory, that the answer would be
No1 The Money
No2 Scotland
No3 Himself & family etc
Britain would be way down on the list and so it should be he is a scot and jolly proud too...........You think im stupid ? you have a point though i am a bit special !

what a great win that was, fair play to wawrinka who played a class match. Not interested in all the Murray love/hate chat as it will never go away,he's a class act and you cant deny that? SHOULD beat JC Ferreo and then Roddick or Hewitt in the semi, what a chance he has now!

only thing was why the f*** did the BBC show them complete tits over 50 times?????

The whole Murray/Argentina thing is ridiculous. He was JOKING. But of course players aren't allowed to joke, because only the journalists there are CLEVER enough to do JOKES.

We all have a pop at the jocks, so why can't he do the same, or we really that precious and thin-skinned.

Same sort of hypocrisy you get from the kind of cretins who complain we are being invaded by immigrants who won't adapt to our customs - then jet off to Spain and do exactly the same there, with their little ex-pat colonies.

Maybe a little...but they balanced it with fairly regular shots of a lass wearing a red top whose breasts looked like they wanted to make a break for freedom at any moment!
