Two big losses, Potter showing he has the courage to dismantle Hughton’s team. A very sad day, two brilliant players who gave everything and were real characters. We now need two strikers maybe we will break our transfer record and take Brewster on loan.

Big losses sentimentally, yes. But both were ultimately fringe players last season, I’m happy for them to be honest don’t want to see either of them rotting on the bench or in the reserves here.

As an aside point, good luck to the Championship next season if Watford go direct to Deeney and Murray :lolol:

If Glenn is moving on, there must be a striker coming in?

Good luck Glenn.

That's what we thought when Andone and Locadia were loaned out and then again in the January. SURELY this time.:lolol:

West...West.......WEST SUSSEX
I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

Suspect this will be his final stint, followed by a return to Brighton as a player/coach capacity similar to Crofts.
Hope you are right.......has been brilliant for us but would have got very little game time this season. I would go as far as saying he might not be a regular at Watford but used sparingly to maximise his effectiveness. He will get more minutes in the Championship than the Premier league at his age & pace. Good luck Glen you are a legend.:clap::wave::clap2::clap2::clap2::bowdown::bhasign::angel::salute:

Why a medical on a loan?

If it were a hire car you'd not ask the AA to do a check first - just send it back if it broke down ...

Odd, or standard practice?

Anyways, good luck Muzza and thanks for the goals.

You would if it was a Ford Mondeo with 150k miles on the clock

Ironically I commutes to Watford for a few years and in a Ford Mondeo Titanium X, what a car!

I hope Glenn does...

Loan fee and/or covering a % of wages make it a bit different to renting a car, which if it breaks down you just call Hertz and they send a replacement. It's not like Watford can pick up the phone and borrow a replacement 37 year old striker from us if this one doesn't work properly.

Was hoping he would get a few more goals for us,(League/FA cup) to push his total closer to Tommy Cook's all time record.

Better for him that he gets the chance to add more to his personal tally.

We had better have a striker coming in/back though.
It was bad enough leaving ourselves short last season.
It would be irresponsible to do it again now.
Maupay/Connolly injury and we'd be deep in the mire.

Good luck to him.

We surely MUST have someone (at least one) lined up though.

Really disappointed GPot couldn't find a role for him but stuck with Connolly week in week out (3 goals all season).

Hope we have someone lined up.

Farewell to a legend, hope he does well for Watford.
