I think what Albion fans don't quite get is how you can price any club out of a move for any player.

They come and they go... We are the ones who stay... Good luck to him, thanks for this season....
Is it that we have been out priced or is it that our management team don't value him as much as yours? I have no doubt that if Poyet really wanted him he would be willing to match reasonable offers from other clubs. The fact Southampton, Millwall et al are not willing to pay as much as you would suggest you are paying over the top
it be someone who we havent heard of
thats all well and good, but not PALACE
I can't believe people are still kidding themselves about Murray. He's a middle aged striker who can't take penalties and is massively injury-prone. Murray going will be a blessing in diguise. Poyet will have someone younger, better and faster lined up.
I think it shows who Gus values and who he doesn't by how he negotiates the contracts, he collared Elliot Bennett and Adam El Abd to long deals but was happy for Muzza's contract to run out.
If he really felt Muzza was an integral part of the group then he would have been signed up ages ago.
A final thought: Murray would only have scored single figures in goals this season if it wasn;t for the assists from Barnes and Bennett ... will he get such service at Palarse? I doubt it.
Well you've offered him a deal to become your best paid player so I'd assume they still want him? I respect that GP and TB don't want to break their wage structure, but I'm struggling to think of many decent strikers you can bring in for a respectable wage who'll do a good job. Plenty of you talk about signing Will Hoskins for around 500k that is almost on average 10k a week before you've paid his wages and he was cack at Championship level.
I wouldn't suggest Southampton and Millwall are out of the running as of yet. At the same time though, Southampton have an abundance of strikers and Millwall have Morison and McQuoid whereas we need a striker asap.

certainly, and he left murray out of the team on a few occaisons earlier on in the season.
all i can sing is:
HE'S BALD
HE'S OLD
HIS CLUBS ABOUT TO FOLD.
GLENN MURRAY. GLENN MURRAY
Support the laundry not the person wearing it!
f*** him and f*** palace. He ain't worth it because he's unproven at Championship level, they are taking a big risk with him in paying so much.
