Managed to score the winner at Old Trafford in the Quarter Finals though, Think Murray was saving himself for Tuesday next week.The Carling Cup might be MASSIVE to a little club like Brighton but to us we aint that bothered, Would have been a day out at Wembley, But we have been there and done that.

We discussed this and it was clear people didn't understand or really know what they want...

i) A sub-forum which is the only place away fans can post.
ii) A sub-forum where all posts from the opposition get moved to for onward discussion.

If we did (i) a lot of decent, sensible fans of away clubs would be jettisoned to a part of the site which most people will never visit and their valued input will be overlooked.

If we did (ii) people are still free to post here until stuff gets moved.

What happens if an away fan posts in the middle of an otherwise 'normal' thread - does that whole thread then get shunted across, effectively dying, because of that one post?

I'm not sure there is a way of dealing with this better than we have...

i) Posters report troll-like behaviour.
ii) Mod issues warning.
iii) Poster either posts in a more considered way or gets banned.

The major failing is most people don't do (i) - they either can't be bothered or they assume someone else will do it. If people do that quickly then mods can act quickly.
