No comparison so totally pointless.

The only worthwhile questions are how much do Newcastle want for LuaLua and will we pay it?

Whether or not Murray goes will influence that because replacing him will reduce the budget available for other players but that is the only correlation between the two.

Murray. Adds more to our all round game the KLL IMO. If we have either next season though I'll be delighted.

totally different players so its stupid even trying to compare. personally, at this moment in time id rather have murray as 20 goals a season is going to be far harder to replace than a wide man of which we already have two of decent quality in bennett and noone

should bennett go to norwich though, then that would probably change the priorities a bit

just because murray maybe signing for palace doesnt suddenly make him dispensible. in the same way that hammond, harding et all didnt suddenly become bad players when they too left us

Today's argus says that pardew want KLL to play pre season for Newcastle to asses him and maybe give him a new contract so if they do sell him someone has to pay a substantial amount for him

That's not the question. Murray is a quality player and would be a big loss for us. But in this hypothetical scenario where you had to choose one clearly LuaLua, who is a young player with the WORLD at his feet.

As posted on t'other thread...

KLL is electrifying. If we can break the bank for him it would be a rare investment opportunity. He's guaranteed to go on and play at a higher level, with or without the Albion. Top half of his body goes one way, bottom half of his body goes the other way. He'd RIP UP the Championship in a way a slightly-above-average journeyman like Glenn Murray could only ever dream of. Fact.
