So with him saying in the interview he knows nothing about the new contract, im sure Gus said a few weeks ago that they have started talking a little bit about it. Not sure what Gus is trying to do here, would be stupid to let him go and would cost up to a million to replace him.

I'm sure they've started talking about it, he just doesn't want to comment on it. I am positive no contract will be signed until the end of the season, if we don't go up he'll go.

He's prob fed up of talking about it now, Now he's in the last six months he's free to sign a pre-contract now. Worrying really as he proved on Saturday vs Taylor he can mix it with the championships best defenders.

I think he's only allowed to talk to English clubs one month before it ends. Can someone confirm?

I thought it was three months, it's definitely something like that.

I don't think it's as simple as not wanting to comment on ongoing negotiations. Because he didn't say that. He said he hasn't heard anything and his agent isn't talking to the club as far as he knows. It didn't sound good.

If Gus is trying to play mind games with Murray he's being very silly indeed. We need Murray whether he likes to admit it or not.

depends if you would rather have gus than glen with us next year?

I would hope that there is no need to make such a choice. Both of them should be able to get on with one another.

Seemingly zero interest in him in the January transfer window, which is moderately surprising being as he's a free agent in a few months.
A cut-price offer *might* have been accepted as an alternative to losing him for nuffin...
