You can catch David Lee in the warm up game that takes place before this one. It's the 'People that are worse at footie than a headless chicken' International against Ghana.

Anyone got the final score? It was 3-1 to Norway at half-time. England scored after about 2 minutes, then Norway equalised straight away from a corner. Scored a rip-snorter for a second, and a penalty for the third. But that's all I know. I got bloody cold and went home.

Final score 4-3 to England. I thoroughly enjoyed the match which was played with great enthusiasm - far better than the cynical Premiership stuff. Well done to all the players, especially those from the Brighton Specials who scored England's goals. :clap2:

Same here well done to England, I watched it as well as one of my college mates James Horton scored one of the goals to get us back into the match. In the end in front of an impressive crowd of about 200 England won 4-3. Good entermainment as Trish said. :)

Nice to see you Trish & Gullet. A good evening out and a great result for England!

A bit weird being able to park outside and also to go in the North Stand. Even weirder being able to get in my car at half time and drive to the chippy near the pub, the longman and make it back for the second half!

Glad you enjoyed your chips Matt. Yes it did seem a bit strange being inside Withdean in those circumstances. But a great match played with real enthusiasm and fight by both teams. Some of the goals were real hum-dingers.
Felt sorry for our goalkeeper who had to go off in the first half injured. He's bound to have been excited all day waiting for this match only for it all to end after 30 minutes, a real shame.
Praise to all who helped organise it, and well done to everyone who took the trouble to turn up and support it, a good crowd I thought.
If it ever happens again and there was anyone who was in two minds about going and didn't, next time DO.

Was nice to watch a game from The Sportsman.

Even nicer to scrounge some food off the disabled supporters group.

England did well. One of the players went to my school; he got suspended for stealing my bananas.
