The actor playing Mr Humphries was in Trollied as the store manager, not sure what else he's been in.

Cheers. I didn't watch Trollied but I'm sure I have seen him before..

Thought they were both ok to be honest. Amiable hour of TV with a few chuckles. I much preferred Porridge to AYBS in the old days but it was the other way round with tonight's remakes. Both beat effing X Factor by a country mile anyway.

Has the In Sickness and In Health remake been on yet ?

Anyone wanting proper comedy, Murder In Successville is on BBC2 at half past.

Porridge was the best of the two. I don't have great hopes for the other two on Friday (Hates "Keeping Up Appearances" at the time - the Lyndhurst one was just dull)

Love the original Porridge. Never bothered with AYBS. Thought both remakes were pretty poor. Are they one off or full series?

Did Mrs Slocombes pussy make an appearance in the end? I always wondered whether it was jet black or one with a few greys in it. ???

I just recently discovered that Carl Rice from Trollied was the kid in the 80's Milk Ad where he said the famous quote "Accrington Stanley, who are they?"
