those tannoy comments get a bit tiresome at times and for a crowd of about 50 im surprised there were coppers about! Maybe they were expecting 2 Jags and puppet Blair tro have a run out on the pitch!

The sudden arrival of the OB in numbers coincided with the arrival of Tessa Jowell (who is, after all, a Cabinet Minister).

As for the language, I agree with you - although I found Ms Jowell's expletive of "OH SHIT!" quite amusing, when she failed to control the ball as she'd intended.
