No it's not. She didn't get a chance.

The interviewer was cutting them off.

Oh rubbish. She had no idea to what he was referring. She has somehow managed to position herself in Brighton to enhance her ability to spout her radical leftie claptrap. Could have just as easily have been Norwich. And I bet when she loses her seat here next time, she will turn up in Norwich and be their member. She is using the current political apathy in Brighton to her own advantage. An MP is supposed to represent her constituents not continually promote their party. And to be honest I don't like her.

Albeit an interesting viewpoint and very narrow whilst very vague and IMO incorrect. I don't recall there being an official Communist Manifesto line on social activities but I'll take your word for it that it's there.

That is how I understand communism.

That is what I find embarrassing the representatives of my town dictating what people can or cannot do. Plus the fact she cow tailed to Meyer when he slagged off Brighton for basically being a concrete environment. No mention from her about Regency splendour or extensive parks and gardens. Just a mumbled reference to the festhival , as she calls it. Which she probably read about on line anyway. Lepper would have wax lyrical about Brighton's heritage until they shut him up. The mad old socialist.

So you have diversified from pork butchery and are now also butchering bovine meat?

In all seriousness what do you mean by "cow tailed"?

I obviously meant kow tow. And I kow tow to you for that very reason. However it is a bastardised Brighton expression.

Maybe you could move to Norwich until she does.

Yeah. I kind of guessed that seeing as that was the definition you gave for it. So you think Communism is democratic then? I'm just puzzled by the line about it dissolving other forms of democratic thought. I don't really want to get into a massive debate on it but I think Marx was all for dictatorship by the proles.

Anyhow, next time the Tories try to fight this constituency can you do me a favour and stay at home please? Ta!

You don't do 'honesty'.

You said you'd respect the decision if she won the seat. Ever since then you've welched time and again on that promise, and only ever enhanced on your well-founded reputation for ignorance, ill-conceived snobbery, pettiness and prejudice.

So by utalising dictatorship , any democratic process is dissolved.

H B & B is an easy target on here and I disagree with a lot of what he says.

In this instance I agree completely with him. I love Brighton dearly and I always have done. I really object to ANY political party using my city as a propaganda exercise. It hurts me to say it, but I'm glad I moved to London last year.

Can I have a pork sausage at the Town Hall for lunch on Monday please? No!

You are the son of a butcher, you can take your own!

Dictatorships are about 'absolute' power. She has not banned meat absolutely, just meat ordered from the canteen. Therefore it is not a dictatorship

There are a lot of wierdo's on this board, but you are by far the most mental.

If they offered you a beef sausage would that not be a dictatorship?

Most politicians believe in helping themselves and their cronies, and that is what they do when they get into power.

The greens believe in helping the environment and health, and that is what they try to do when they get into power.

The greens were elected to government, so............................
