Probably didn't play the 'West Ham way'

Didn't they say something along the lines of needing to get a manager to take them to 'the next level'?

How about first being a permanent fixture at your current level.

Potentially good news for us. Two clubs (WHU and Everton) where there will be pressure on the manager from Day 1. Both clubs have impatient fans who will expect their new guys to hit the ground running.

So of the 'safe pair of hands' British manager appointments only Roy is still in employment.

Yet come November only Pards will still be unemployed (and heading off to the jungle).

So two new managers required who will probably know nothing about the squads they are inheriting and the window opens tomorrow and closes early. Interesting. Could work in our favour.

Good timing? Moyes back to Everton, a club he fitted like a glove, after being (slightly) less successful away from there* - a bit like Howe going back to Bournemouth after an indifferent time away from his 'home' club.

*He actually did an excellent job at Wet Sham too, to be fair. Shame, I'd have loved the stadium squatters to go down!

Now West Ham and Everton are going to get into a bidding war for a manager with this* record in the Premier League :lolol:

*Played 42 Won 13 Drawn 8 Lost 21; Or Win 31% Draw 19% Lose 50%

The manager at West Ham doesn't seem to get to choose the signings anyway. They spunked a ridiculous amount (wages mainly) on names not players to fit the team last summer. Expecting similar this year. Everton, I think, cannot be as poor again. They have some decent players already, just need a system and a few astute signings of the kind of player they need (ie no more number 10s).
