mid 80's

moved to Eastbourne,then France about 7 years ago

used to drink in the Crown

I know about this; trust me, I would never confuse a Conservative Club burning down. But, I thought The Crown was seriously damaged and then became a commercial property? It's the pub which was opposite C+E Sports right?

I only went in there when my darts team was playing theirs. It was a Brickwoods pub in those days and the beer was absolutely awful.
