My thoughts:

Mwepu in for Gross
Mac in for Moder
Sarmiento in for Maupay

Ferguson from the U23s on the bench.
(Locadia dropped from squad never to return)

No point throwing anyone to the wolves after the last performance, but I think Groß could do with a rest and I also think Duffy is a better pick than Velts at the moment.

Funnily enough, I was thinking that if it were a home game, GP may well go unchanged to make a point to the boo boys. Even so, I suspect he will keep Maupay to give him a chance for redemption.

I also suspect Lallana was given a rest yesterday to be ready for West Ham and so will play ( hopefully not alongside Gross).

I disagree with you about Duffy. Playing Velts gives cover on the right for Lamptey to go forward. Therefore, he is a better option than Duffy, as we could easily get exposed down that flank.

I think Duffy will come in to help managing Antonio’s power and Veltman will start at right back to prevent Lamptey playing twice in short succession.

Maupay needs to get straight back on it, as much as I'd like to see Sarmiento get a start he'd only last 30 minutes because he's not got a off switch for balls out flat out from the off he will learn to conserve his energy a bit better over time but he's a absolute must use weapon with 20 to go if we need something different.

I thought against Leeds our defence was better without Duffy with a back 4 with 2 full backs
