Move on, move on, nothing to see here. Especially no whizzy winger from Newcastle

None of us truly know what is going on but anyone who believes there is even a word of truth on Football Rumours they are wrong. It is probably a Southampton fan who put that rumour on there and has seen NSC and thought they would have a laugh.

I feel that way too. I so want to see Lua Lua run out in the blue and white stripes again - but as our player rather than a loanee. And the thought of him playing for Saints just makes me sick to the core. I really hope this is just a wind-up.

I can honestly say that I've never been so desperate for us to sign a player - the whole 'signing tomorrow/today' business on Thursday/Friday has made it all the more frustrating. It's rare that Naylor says something is 'likely' to happen unless it's pretty much nailed on.

Sorry if this aggravates anyone and sorry if it originally came from a NSC member which I cannot say for sure !

Just posted on Yahoo - Eurosport Transfer Live thingy

6:33 Eurosport: Mmm... meat pie. The player certainly wants to go. He complained recently that Alan Pardew has not said a word to him since returning to Newcastle. Very likely to happen.

Hi there. Dropping down the Leagues now from the glorious heights of the Prem to the nitty gritty meat pie world of the Championship - any news or intel on a possible move for Kaz LuaLua from the Magpies to Brighton ?

I think it was probably a reference to the fact that the question was boring old championship ( meat pie or meat and potatoes ) rather than the premiership (caviar) to which is what most posts on there refer !

Hmmm interesting that you write that........... I don't ever believe the bullshit on that football rumours thing (though I do have a look every now and again), but just saw this. Prob bullshit, but hope not true :annoyed:

Was personally speaking to Leicester City chief scout who used to be chief scout at Southampton. He says Southampton have tabled a last minute offer to get Kazenga Lua Lua from Newcastle United. Apparently the player had his heart set on joining Brighton, but Newcastle have also accepted saints offer and the players agent is insisting on at least meeting Southampton first as they are insist they will better Brighton's offer. He stated the Saints first team coach (whoever that is?), who was Pardew's assistant manager, has played a small part in pursuading Newcastle and the players agent to at least hear their offer first.

I just found this on there too, again almost certainly bullshit, but I'd piss myself if it's true!

After signing Glenn Murray for a free, Crystal Palace have taken Glenns advice and are now looking at signing the Argentinian duo (Augustin Battipiedi, and Cristian Baz) recently released by Brighton, They impressed Glenn in the few times they played, and would suit Crystal Palaces style of play.

Means nothing, Southampton might offer him a nice big agent fee to turn his head.

You were saying you'd 'heard' he was signing Fri after 10 other people had on Thurs

They would suit C(ra)P's style of play - cos they're shit. And I urge you all to ignore the idiot who is spreading bullshit about Saints in for Lua Lua. Until I hear otherwise, I will be listening to the quotes made from KLL and GP themselves. You're all right though, he is the one player who can make a huge difference to us this season, please God let it be tomorrow!

It does look like a saints wind up [said in desperate hope].

these 2 latest just appeared. (first one is so obviously bullshit, hope the second is to)

Albert Jarrett is in line for a sensation return to Brighton after Kazenga Lua Lua opted to sign for south coast rivals Southampton. The pacy winger starred for Brighton in the 2005/06 season and Gus Poyet sees him as the perfect foil to new signing Will Buckley.

19 Jun 2011 19:32:04
Kazenga Lua Lua is likely to snub Gus Poyet's Brighton and join Southampton after the Saints have reportedly offered to add £2000 to the winger's weekly wage.

It won't be the results ongoing, or at the end of the season, which determine whether or not we have 17500 ST renewals or somewhat fewer, it will be the possibility that we have stuck too rigidly to a wage cap. From that, seagulls fans would recognise that we aren't going to progress and probably never will if we prove too inflexible.

I seriously hope that the club will not allow KLL to slip through our fingers. I, too, would be absolutely gutted if he ended up turning out for SCC.

So offer KLL more money. He is priceless to us and we need to recognise this.

NOT This ^^

This ^^

Maybe he is talking to them, if they have made an offer he would be mad simply not to even listen to it. Got to trust he will still choose us, he loves it here and he knows he will be a cult hero.

Would be gutted if he ended up at Stains
