I know the above two players have been subject of discussion for several months now but I really hope we can move them on now and free up more funds, even if we have to pay up their contracts. Lets hope we can sign Sharp who is arrogant, slightly cocky, but class for this division, then move Murray on. It's obvious he's halfway out the door.

I would have said the same about el abd but watching him against Torquay after Virgs threw him the captain's armband he was very vocal and efficient about organising the defence and trainees and made a positive impression.....plus he bleeds blue and white. I do think he may have a role as a squad player even though I am sure he will get very few starts.

Livermore and Hawkins on the other hand do appear to have drifted out of the picture completely and it would be surprising if they were not being touted round for sale or loan as we speak.

I actually don't believe Colin Hawkins can be as bad as he made himself appear last season. Slade must see something in him, otherwise he wouldn't still be here. Livermore has the potential to be an important player for us and certainly gives us balance in the middle with his natural left foot. As for El-Abd, I would keep him just because you can play him anywhere and know what you're going to get. I don't think he's good enough, in fact I think he's the second worst player in the squad, but he'll always give you everything he can and though that might not be much, it means something. There's nothing he won't do for the cause, it's just a shame he's not a *little* bit better techincally.

Livermore baffles me completely.

We signed him at a time where he'd done well for Millwall, captained Hull to the Premiership and played in an FA Cup Final, so on paper he should have been brilliant at Division Three level and virtually the first name on the teamsheet every week, but it's really just never happened for him here and I don't really understand why.
