I had one of these many years ago.
I got it when I was in plaster from a previous accident and couldn't lift my leg over the seat to mount my usual ride.
A nice step through and went for ages on a tank full.

My brothers first bike was a C90 at the ripe old age of 13. We lived in a small village then. He stripped the plastic faring off and as much of the rest he could. I had a KE100 and being 14 we could only take them off road. Fortunately there were a few paths and tracks we'd use for biking on. Surprised we didn't get into more trouble looking back at it.

That's too good to become a paddock bike. You deserve a lot of credit for looking after her so well.

C90, first bike I ever rode which around 30 seconds later became the first one I dropped when I tried to corner it. 
Probably dropped the majority of the bikes I owned in the next few years until I found it was less painful and less expensive to keep them shiny side up rather than trying to be Barry Sheene...
Last one was the 750 Commando the front end tucked under fairly slowly having braked on an oily road coming up to a Junction, I honestly chucked myself under it thinking of the repair bill otherwise!
Pair of Levis written off, new brake lever and foot peg, everything else OK. Got up and rode it home. Didn't mention to Mum & Dad what I had done as I had just come back from a naughty weekend with a young lady they didn't approve of.

Lambrettas were amazingly UN-cool in the early 90's . . . Served me well as £50 transport to work and I loved them, and still do. . . . I don't suppose there'll be a britpop style boom for C90's and mopeds ( Lambrettas are bonkers at the moment) but they have become alternative cool . . . C90's in particular lend themselves to all sorts . . . . On the continent there has always been a trend for moped tuning, believe it or not.

Used to love watching the 'moped mayhem' at the BMF show each year, absolute nutters racing all manner of mopeds...
On the Isle of wight each year they have a Scooter Rally. I think next years is the 25th August.
Me and my husband rode over to there a couple of years ago for a small holiday. We did not know it was the Rally that weekend as we were leaving. As we queued to get back on the ferry, they were all arriving in a plume of two stroke smoke.
A few had arrived early and I took a few photo's
I bought myself a Christmas present . . . . Very rare, had one 30 years ago but never finished it as it was incomplete.

We watched The Talented Mr Ripley for the 250th time last night (comes off Netflix on the 31st), Pratt Damon on a 1952 Lambretta C and Jude Law on a late 50s Vespa, absolute scooter porn.
New levers and rack fitted to the Monkey bike. Tried out my Keis heated gilet that I got for Christmas today oh my it like riding a bike with a hug along with heated grips, I did not feel cold at all. Would recommend one if you ride in cold weather, it is a game changer

question for all you motor cyclists- or moped riders out there. Is there a reason, before you ride, to start the engine up, and then leave it 5-10 mins while you suit and helmet up? I ask as there are a couple of bikes in our road, and both leave the bike idling for ages before they get on them? its bloody annoying during the day, especially the moped which sounds like a revving F1 car! , but early morning and evening, especially in hot weather when windows are open its infuriating
it depends on the bike or if it is cold outside. Older bikes are carbureted so need some time to warm before they run properly. Newer bikes have fuel injection so it not so necessary.

Thank you, they are older bikes so that now makes sense. Glad they arent doing it just to annoy the f*** out of the neighbours

I used to have a bike with a reverse gear. It was a Soviet built Ural 650 sidecar outfit, badly made, old fashioned, slow and a huge amount of fun both on and off road.

Absolutely not.
It's become mainstream over the last ten years to tell people they should let their bike run for a few minutes before setting off.
There's no need to do this.
Put your gear on, get on the blooming thing, start it up, away you go in a leisurely manner. You can rag it when the oil and water if it's water cooled are at a reasonable temperature.
I've been riding various different bikes carb'd and injected for over 40 years and never had to let a single one warm up once started. Never caused any problems.
Clutchless gear changing became Internet fashionable about 15 years ago too.
Don't bother with that either. There's always someone who likes to think they've got some clever resolution to an issue that never existed in the first place.
Recent motorcyclists seem to be quite gullible to suggestion and fashion.
Go ask them to kindly move off quicker or suggest they push the bikes down the road before starting them up. Noisy beggars.
Oh yes, and :
Stationary idling is an offence under Section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
The act enforces Rule 123 of the Highway Code.
“You must not leave a vehicle’s engine running unnecessarily while that vehicle is stationary on a public road. ”
