Very pleased to see our equaliser started with a beautiful side-step by Webster. He'll be feeling better after his OG after that.

Doubt Webster will be feeling bad after the OG. that’s all down to Sanchez and Webster had no chance to avoid it

Chappers: "Well, Brighton were fantastic, weren't they?"

Shearer: "Brighton were magnificent and deserved at least a point."

"Fantastic from Brighton, the way they pass the ball around."

"It's just too easy for Brighton, they're a good side...great running off the ball."

Chappers: "De Zerbi could be really exciting for Brighton."

Wright: "If he carries on doing what he's doing with that Brighton side...you see what he's capable of doing."

That said, all of the Albion's praise was really based as a reaction on Liverpool's poor defending.

A lot more focus could've been given to Trossard's hat-trick. No analysis of us as such.

At the risk of appearing needy, they've sold us more than a bit short tonight.

I’m happy with it, they’re saying how fantastic we are, but not saying why. That’s good, as it leaves the opposing managers more work to do to figure us out...

Watching the Palace v Chelsea game and was thinking that Palace were right to go mad about Thiago Silva not being sent off. I can only think that the VAR watched the replay considering whether a goal scoring opportunity had been denied, and, when using slow motion, noticed that the striker was Jordan Ayew.

Palace or not, hopefully that is one more nail in the VAR coffin. Absolutely no excuses about not sending Silva off.

100% a red in the palace v Chelsea match. Cracking finish by Gallagher, I bet he enjoyed that.

Indeed. It was for that reason we equalised. He had a few other class little moments during the game too maintaining our press....

That side step to keep the pressure on was pure un-adulterated filth😁

What has Potter done to Sterling he’s really lacking confidence, it was highlights but he has basically turned Chelsea into us a season ago. Way to go GP

Always been surprised that Ian Wright doesn't have 'Palace' glasses on when commenting about us (he only uses 'We' referring to Arsenal).. Interesting clip of his celebration against Palace and the reason behind it..!

Palace moaning about VAR yet were quite happy to take the points and even more appalling decisions they benefited from vs Newcastle and Villa - Parish even did a (barely readable) tweet that got shown in MOTD
