Obviously Sky's Brighton hagiography should be music to our ears, but I do feel the urge to shout 'Grass!' at Mark McAdam while he tells the world what we're doing.

Might warrant a separate thread, but Sky just released a 5 minute video about why we're doing so well. Well worth the time to watch, nothing we don't already know, but nice to hear it said.

Excellent and thanks for sharing. It really is teamwork at the Albion and each team member is really good at what he does. These are the days.

Is this success sustainable do you think? Does our approach compare favourably with say Leicester over the past few years and Southampton fifteen or so years ago?

Agree with what you have said about publicising how good we are and the benefits.

What I said was why do we need to feel the need to hear from pundits who often lack knowledge are usually two faced (e.g. how bad we were to sack Hughton but now praise the decision, what bad fans we all are when a few booed the team etc) and playing their part in the TV circus operated mainly by SKY, Btsport and BBC who want to pander to the TV audience who support the top 6 rather than football fans who go through the turnstile every week.
Yeah I don't feel the need to hear their praise, I have a low opinion of most of them. But it's still nice to hear good things, and even the two faced pundits influence the overall picture of our club.

All about the owners imo. The Chinese bloke bought Stains in 2017 and been trying to sell it for a couple of years. Now owned by a Serbian billionaire.

Leicester have gone down hill in investment since the owners unfortunate helicopter crash and his son took over.

Starts with the top, putting in a structure in place below at all levels.

Re Leicester and their owners. I was chatting to a couple of their fans on the walk back towards the car on Sunday and they explained that King Power made / make the majority of their income from shops / duty free at airports, and obviously Covid wiped out there trade completely for a couple of years. It's hardly a surprise that they're having to reign in investment for a while until they can recover losses.

Yeah. We've gone a bit O/T here but I said it on Stato's thread it does start at the top. You need an owner who sees owing a football club as a long term, self contained project in its own right. Someone like TB who is a fan and knows he's holding the club in trust and wants to leave it in a better position than he found it. You don't want an owner who treats your club as a vanity project. And you really don't want an owner who treats your club as an investment opportunity, money-laundering operation or cash cow.

Fantastic like last season we have a great start but all this praise of the club is so over the top after just 6 games.. May not happen but could well have sometime a very poor 10 game run. The time to rave about us is after 20 plus games

Doesn't matter too much - it seems to be on early anyway. Just turned it on, halfway through the Arsenal game already.

Yes, with 7 games, they've got a lot to get through tonight.

Let's hope there's some decent analysis with us up 2nd.

Great editing. Showed Trossard on the floor, but not the two 'challenges' on him in straight succession that put him there...
