I love the Equalizer movies with Denzel Washington. Equalizer 2 just started on Film4 and I only saw it few weeks ago.

Predictably Mark Kermode and separately the Guardian deemed them rubbish.

I like being more easily pleased!

They are great action films with a bit of intelligence and of course, Denzel, to raise them above the usual action dross.

They are great entertainment. 4 and 5 also confirmed last week by Denzel himself.

I’m a big fan of “folk horror”, especially stuff set in the 60’s and 70’s.

Enys Men ticked a lot of boxes for me.

This film passed by fairly unnoticed but in my humble, a fantastic entry into the “lighthouse / maritime” thriller genre. If that doesn’t sound too wanky

Anyway, great thriller / horror..
