Where's the most obscure place you've seen an Albion shirt, be it on holiday, or just out and about?

In my local on a Friday night a couple of months ago. It was being worn by a lad from Brighton who was here visiting his Cardiff-based uni mate. I asked him if he uses this site at all, but he said he'd never heard of it!

Can't possibly be a real fan than if he has not heard of NSC :dunce:

Getting on well with a couple from Nottingham in Zanzibar a few years back and we book a snorkelling trip with them. Chap takes off his t-shirt as we're about to dive in, and he's got an Albion tattoo. Couldn't believe it.

Saw him again at Notts Forest away a year or two back.

I told him that a couple of North Stand Chat legends had visited the pub last season before your game here, and he said he'd never heard of it! Disgraceful!

Presumably you and your hard-nut Cardiff mates duffed him up at this point?

Naturally. He's probably still in hospital as we speak.

Did he ask if he could give his shirt back?

When I was at Cardiff Uni circa 1992 I went round to a mate's house wearing my Albion scarf on the Saturday of the Albion's visit to Ninian (1-1). There was a geezer I didn't know there who on seeing my scarf went off on one about being from Brighton and going regularly to the Goldstone etc. so I asked him if he was going to the game and he said he was......but that he wouldn't be with the away fans because having lived in Cardiff for a while he was now a City fan!!!

In a mountain bar/cafe skiing in Cervinia, Italy. The whole bar bedecked with albion related pictures, scarves, shirts etc. Turns out the place is owned by an Italian bloke who met and married a Brighton girl and they ran it together.
