I have a vague recollection of being at the Priestfield in 1998 and once seeing an Albion shirt in the opponents' penalty area.

Does anyone else remember this?

I think you're getting confused with Selhurst Park Oct 2002

In a shopping centre in Glasgow, it was a few years ago but I think the wearer and the lass he was with were on their honeymoon, that struck me as more bizarre than seeing a Brighton shirt in the heart of Scotland.

The most surreal sighting I have had was when my job used to take me to Nottingham a lot during the Gillingham groundshare era. Once whilst getting a cab from my hotel to the office a car came past us which had one of those blue & white 'Bring Home The Albion' car stickers. It was a bit of a shock to see it and I was tempted to wind the window down and bellow "SEAGULLS" at the woman driving but I did not want to annoy the cabbie...As well as cause an accident.

Albion & England forever.

ah yes.

After we played Leyton Orient at there place, a few of us went into the west end to see the late Joe Stummer as we were walking down Charing Cross Rd in our colours we heared Seagulls and other Albion behind us.

Whilst in the gig there were a few Albion's and Seagulls sung around the venue to a mysterious crowd and ourselves as we joined in but at the time unable to locate the others.

Just remembered seeing a group of lads wearing the stripes at the Ajax tournament a few years ago. I had gone to the games with a Manure following colleague. We struck up a conversation with a group of Dutch people sat behind us, they asked us who we supported, they had of course heard of United but not the Albion. I then explained who we were and where we came from, seconds later I saw the stripes a few yards to my right. I pointed in their direction and told the Dutch group that I followed the same team as the wearers of the blue and white shirts, they seemed impressed about how far we would travel to watch games, proud....too bloody right I was...

Surprised at how many you see around Oz, mind you my international support officer used to go down to the Goldstone in the late 70's early 80's before she moved to sunny Launceston. Really is the centre of Northern Tasmania!!

In a mountain bar/cafe skiing in Cervinia, Italy. The whole bar bedecked with albion related pictures, scarves, shirts etc. Turns out the place is owned by an Italian bloke who met and married a Brighton girl and they ran it together.

whats it called

Can't remember - too long ago. All I recall
(and it may not be that accurate) is that it was definately on the right hand side of a run, which I think was a reasonably longish red, and about half way down.

In London village.
Not an Albion shirt, but there was a rather nice young lady wearing a "Brighton Babe" t-shirt on the 29 bus to Camden a few weeks ago. :p

On Koh Phangan last week I saw a Thai bloke driving a pickup who was wearing the old red-and-white away shirt, with the number 2 and CRUMPLIN on the back, bit surreal somehow; when I asked him, he said he'd been given it by a friend. And once went into a bar on Koh Samui with Sonic the Hedgehog and my boss, to find the barmaid wearing the then current home shirt - just like Sonic. That was a surprise, too (not one and the same shirt, obviously - now that really WOULD have been noteworthy).

We ended up sitting next to another Albion fan at Wet n' Wild in Orlando.

I also saw a bloke in the stripes in the Nou Camp, Barcelona. Turns out he was from Leicester.
