Saw these as support to UB40 in the 80's at the BC.
The first ( and last time) I have ever see the bars empty for a support band and thousands flooded the downstairs standing, during this track the lead singer split the standing crowd into 2 halves, to the chorus " get flat, every posse get flat " the left side had to shimmer lower and lower whilst the right side repeatedly threw their right hands over their heads pointing with their fingers at the crouching side.

From the south balcony the sight of 3-4000 UB40 fans getting into this reggae discopop was amazing.

One of the most charismatic lead singers i have seen since the geezer from Nicky and the Dots.

I just stumbled across this and just had to share it. I wouldn't be surprised to find that our friend who threatened to eat his Richie Blackmore hat over some nonsense is fond of this absolute shower :lolol:

I was literally at this tour and have seen Ghost 3 times.

Absolutely amazing band who bring theatrics into their live show. This song is an interlude in their set while the singer gets changed.

Their live shows are known as rituals and include such treats as guitar duels, keytar solos and talks about the birds and the bees.

Would highly recommend.

Never judge a book by it's cover! I saw them support Metallica and was expecting some God awful dropped d death metal. However, I was pleasantly surprised and if you can see past the silly image they are pretty good. Most recent album went to no.2 in charts so must be doing something right

They're a great band who make fun songs while singing about Satan (not in a serious way).

If you take them seriously you're not going to get it.

As MM says, Ghost are not what you would expect and some of their recent stuff has been described as being heavy with ABBA like harmonies!

I've seen them three times now and it isn't just a concert - the guy puts on a real show. First time in Brighton was on a tour which won a Grammy for best Live show. Very surreal and came away thinking that I wasn't sure what the heck I had just seen but I enjoyed it. Second time was at Wembley and much more camp - I think the lead singer go through four sets of formal tail suits as well as two papal outfits. At one point he cycled across the stage on a white bicycle for no apparent reason and finished with glitter cannons - definitely not your average rock gig.

Saw them again ay the O2 last month and again, very much a show than a concert and good value for money. Members of the audience also go to town with their outfits and you see many in face paint (bit like Kiss fans), dressed in various religious outfits including some very underdressed nuns! Their merchandise is just as weird including things like papal cuddly toys, pope on a rope, and even a full scale papal robe/blanket you can use to keep warm on your sofa at night.

The O2 show was absolutely amazing. Year Zero a particular highlight as well as the ever incredible Mummy Dust which definitely tickled my taint and wobbled my cheeks.

This was the Ghost gig at Twickenham that I went to and the best bit about this fan video is watching the bald headed security guy. He's loving it but trying to remain professional! :)

This has got to be a valid suggestion, it was both utterly ludicrous but a brilliant show.

For the younger reader, this is the high tech re-enactment of the famous “The Battle” track from Journey to the Centre of the Earth back in our youth. :D

Is that the Crystal Palace bowl?

I saw Yes / Lindisfarne / Wright's Wonderwheel / Capability Brown / mahavishnu orchestra there early 70’s

From 3 minutes Frank starts plucking out all types of hair...

It's just such boring music though. If you're going to dress like knobheads, at least make the music a little bit edgy:

I saw Screaming Lord Sutch at The Top Rank Suite ( I know…) carried on stage in a coffin. You’ve probably gathered that I’m not a teenager and don’t know how to upload a video link ( if it even exists!).

Remember seeing W.A.S.P. at Monsters of Rock back in the 80's where the lead singer tied a semi-naked model to a torture rack, and also threw raw meat into the crowd.

Trying to work out how to upload Alice Cooper's latest live stage show.
He still has his head despite it being cut off each night :moo:
