"Ooooh, my GOD you've got a small cock!"

Sick of hearing it quite frankly.

One of my old bosses was the king of management speak bollox, one of his favourites if you disagreed with him at a meeting was "Well if you took off your victim glasses for a moment".
I always wanted to reply "Fine, as long as you take off your rose tinted glasses", prior to punching him.

It's these little things that make me realise that it was definitely time for me to accept the offer of early retirement. :lolol:

“I had a cheeky pint”.

Usually said with a smirk as if they think it’s daring and naughty for an adult to buy beer.

A recent bosses use of the phrase "What does good look like", used to grate quite a bit.

Though people who use advertising slogans such as "Lastminute.com" or "Confused.com" to describe when they did some last minute or were confused really do need rounding up for re education.

Any variation on "we can all learn something from this", "we're seeing this as a learning experience", etc.

A frequently-used poor substitute for a genuine apology. Very popular among politicians across the political spectrum.

What I've learned is that invariably the person using the plural pronoun isn't big enough to admit they themselves were wrong and had individually failed.

' At close of play'. When applied in business tense when it should only be applied to cricket.

' With all due respect' which in reality usually means the exact opposite.

The same club cricket bores bring these to life outside:

“On the front foot”.
“Put him on the back foot”.
“Keep the score ticking over”.
“Sticky wicket”
“Played with a straight bat”
“Bowled him a googly”.
“Hit him for six”.

None of those in the poll. The most irritating is the term "go to" as in "the Star is my go to pub". Awful term. What's wrong with favourite??
