I have my suspicions that it is Danny Murphy. Keen on a career in the media, has shown before that he is willing to stick his neck out?

I think Frank Lampard, he got an A* in Latin GSCE, my friend's child studies Latin at school and apparently it is very confusing, he's published an autobiography and he has a high IQ

I'm not so sure about that. The latest article insinuates that all is not rosy at Chelsea or at least Terry is not an entirely popular leader. I'm not sure he would criticise Capello either. He might be clever, but he doesn't come across as being particularly profound.

I don't believe it is Frank Lampard. I can't imagine he would say, like TSF did on Twitter, he knows players in the mid-20's not being keen on playing internationals. It sounds like someone who is either excluded from, or disillusioned with, the international game. IMO Lampard still has international ambitions.

I thought it might be Scott Parker. He was at quite a tough school to get into in London. Funnily enough so was Shaun Wright-Phillips. Probably barking up completely the wrong tree.

Cheers for this link though. Really interesting read.

"Rudyard Kipling, a personal hero of mine, is a great example of the success that can be achieved because of an allegiance to two different countries. Torn between Britain and India, Kipling exploited this and wrote some of the finest works in modern literature, his outstanding contributions including the poems, If and Mandalay and the short story, The Man Who Would Be King."

Are they sure this is a piece written by a professional footballer?

Are you sure there are no top flight footballers with an interest and understanding of literature? I'm sure not all of them are as dumb as Rooney or as ill behaved as Terry.
