One of my favourite, non-Albion, footballers also sported a beard:

...and for what it is worth, scored one of the greatest goals of all time...at least in an FA Cup Final!

I used to like the warrior players, like Trevor Hockey, but isn't he dead now?

There was a time in the laste 60's when a few Albion players sported very smartly trimmed beareds, most famously Kit Napier but also Wally Gould.
