Easiest question in history. Storer or Reinelt. End of thread.

Hard question to answer really. You could argue Storer or Reinelt just for those goals, you could argue any of the players we sold to keep us afloat, you could argue Zamora, Ward, Bruno, Knockaert, Murray and countless others for their contributions on the pitch.

I'll go with Colin Hawkins.

Mark Beaney.

Although I sure our representative from Sweden will be along soon to tell us we're all wrong.

Brighton factually.....
There is only one Tommy Cook..

Legend, before my time, 40 fags a day and all time record scorer 123 ripples of the net...

Also played for Sussex with a batting average of 30.37 and once got 278 in an innings....

Gets my vote - much as I would love to give it to Storer or Reinelt.

Mark Beeney? He has to be up there in sales that saved us. Virgo too.

I see Stat beat me to it...

He signed for Leeds, and I heard on giving someone a lift picking them up to go the training ground he ran over the players cat...

Obviously endearing himself to his new team mates from the get go...

Stolen from another website but thought it was a great question.

Who gets your vote as the most important player in our history

I am replying without reading the other replies (yet).

For the goals he scored in 96-7 that help keep us alive, Craig Maskell

For the joy and success he brought us when we really needed a boost, Bobby Zamora.

For the money he brought us when sold him, Mark Beeney

Now I'll check and see what others have suggested....good question!

Was it Blackpool away the Albion's 'last ever game' before the Beaney transfer lifeline?

There must have been a bloody good reason to make me go.
