Don't disagree Jimbo, true legend... I just did that in order of job, and I spent more time with Westminster people.

Would Simon Jordan count as he "walked" under the train tunnel at Withdean with his henchmen and we let him totally have it. His dins thought enough's enough and tried to flex their muscles, then all of a sudden approx 50 Brighton fans came off the London Road, no more Jordan & co, they sprinted like hell into yhe main car park to get police protection. He looked like the Tango man

You should never name drop. Mick Jagger told me that.

The only famous person I have had a chat to (longer than an adoring burble) is Jason Leonard. An absolute gent, apart from trying to crush my hand.

Used to play cricket, in the nets, with the Sussex side in the late 80s as I was best friends with the son of Paul Parker.

Oh, spoke to Mark Little for quite a while. He was pissed. But then, most of Brighton have spoken to him.

Spent a day with Peter James, but I don't think he is really on the radar of famous people.

I have dealt with David Dimbleby on many occasions in my old job, he kept calling me Geoff which is not my name and after about the 10th time of reminding him i am Baz i wrapped up a call calling him Mr Bumblebee, he laughed. He is posh but has a cracking sense of humour. He lives on the outskirts of Polegate BTW

Met him a few times in Lewes.....pleasant man indeed

From his assumption that we ALL must know who he is, and the 'Worthing' clue he has offered, and the mention of 'getting close' when I posted about an election, I guess that bobby smith must be some sort of Worthing politician, probably a Tory.

But, no. I've never heard of any of them.
