Football shirts across Europe are often in the £50-£70 bracket, or even more, perhaps Iceland is that little bit more, as I understand many things are there.

A common misconception. There are two versions. The £90 version was identical to the shirts worn by players, rather than the cheaper to produce version normally in shops. You could pick up a "normal" version for about £60 on release.

Still way overpriced, but not quite the £90 people were claiming.
